    "HOT" ROD to Race Car

    You guys remember this car?
It's a little on the crispy side!

Owner has decided to build more of a race car:

    1. Race Motor
    2. Single Turbo
    3. Dry Sump
    4. Fast Back
    5. Dog Gear Box
    6. Race Clutch

    We've got a little cleaning first....image.jpgimage.jpg

This car caught fire during a track event.
Not sure the cause, but I think it's oil related.....

Hoov- you think the excessive heat on the frame from the fire may cause any fatigue/cracking issues later?

the chassis paint was blistered a little, so I doubt there's any "heat" damage, mostly cosmetic.

    Hey folks,

Aside from paint work, everything looks great!
The owner called me today and traded it in for an HVRX.

This will go up for sale as a roller.....
