In SCCA I will follow our fearless leader, Grapeman. I would think the the ITE would be better but there is less competition and I think he is running a GT series this year. Also, NASA has much better classes for these types of cars where you are classed based on weight and power. I really just want to have fun with the car and make it realize it's full potential....and get videos
I only wish we had a club like Spring Mountain around here. I'd join in a heartbeat. Their race series sounds ideal for guys like us!!!! Falb, I can't wait to hear about and watch (more of) your exploits. Keep those videos coming. At least one of us knows how to do video!!!

    Falb,
Great video. Crazy how your speed jumps up 15 mph when you are on the steep banking!
    Over 3000 lbs = boring. 0-60 over 4 seconds = boring. Under 1 g = boring. Noble, not boring.

That is GPS error. The speed actually goes down a bit from the additional friction of turning. Watch the RPMs to see the disconnect.

I can bring guests and they can bring thier cars and drive on track, but I am pretty sure guests cant race.

Hoover, Just was looking at race cars for sale and ran across this crazy adrian newey design (RBR F1) Lotus. Check out the solution for getting cold air to the intercooler. Interesting stuff here.
