    Several different types of muffler packing options.

    Some use stainless, fiberglass etc... Depending on what you are trying to accomplish.

    Even the core design will
    Change the sound. In this case, we will use a louver design instead of perforated tubing.

    probably fiberglass or some equivalent. It absorbs the most sound and good for 1700dg.

    Here's the repair with minor tuning. Should get even better once we clean up the fuel tables.

    You can see that at 16 psi., the top end shows signs of break up. This is still much better.
