Anyone buying or bought new NSX?

    I'm
Considering it to build parts. I've owned two of the gen 1 but so far the nsx isn't that fast.

At 150k, it's not too expensive for a daily driver. Acura won't change the design for another 10 years.

    Thoughts?

The weight of the hybrid drivetrain kills it for me. There is a talk about non-hybrid version of it. If that happens, I would look into it again...

I'm at minimum going to test drive. I'm not a fan of the hybrids system either.
I parked around at the nsx forums last nite and not much going on. IMO, not many of the original nsx buyers would shell out another 100k.

    This afternoon-

Gary (guy in front of the lap
Top) and I go back a long way. He gathers data for a lot of the LMP teams as well had Honda.
I'll get some info from him after testing!

Are they running the hybrid drivetrain or non-hybrid?

My friend is an engineer for the team-

550 horsepower, stock engine, stock turbos, stock intercoolers and it all lasted 24 hours! The 5th place finish at the 2017 24 Hours of Daytona on the lead lap was a bonus. The NSX GT3 has certainly come a long way since we started developing the car in March of last year. Great job by all at HPD, Honda R&D, JAS, RealTime Racing, and Michael Shank Racing!
