We've been so busy since Dec. and only caught up with work since yesterday. After some discovery that Ford had an issue with their calibration, we're finally making full pulls. Hopefully, we will get some tuning in this week.

Are there huge benefits to longitudinal vs. transverse? This seems like the logic progression that Lee took himself, to move to the m600...
Being able to acquire a transmission that will handle the abuse would be the primary benefit.
I followed Lee Noble's path.
Many years ago, he rotated the engine longitudinal using the Duratec 3.0 matted to a Quaife sequential gear box for racing. He personally told me that he was tired of the transmission failing even though they were readily available; especially for racing. Years back, we did the same to a porsche gear box but did not complete the R&D in a Noble chassis. I still have the parts.
The mule was then continued on to the M500 with volvo engine.
We have not scaled the entire car yet. The engine sits 5"-7" lower and 4"+ more forward. The fuel tank will sit center and forward which moves more of the weight where it needs to be. The intercooler will also be relocated to the side which will balance out the weight.
