We rented out two Elise's for HPDE that day.
I may go to hang out, but not stay the entire day.

    Could be fun.
If the weather is OK I might show up, too.

Most likely the same day. Although 22nd is Monday... Hmm, weekend in Monterey?

Great job today, Filip! You look great out there!

Attended the second part of the day. It's been a while.
Upon entry, I was greeted by some of the staff of Laguna SEca and all of them remember DV racing- felt good! They asked when I would return and with what- Soon!

There was a lot of interest in my Rossa. There were what seemed to be like two serious shoppers for either Rossion or Noble. I feel like these are the venues Rossion marketing should be attending IF they are serious about their business.
Toughest question of the day: "Would you do it again had you known what you know today?"... What is your answer? :P

    Filip,

I made a lot of mistakes...period! I kept too much "in" the community and not out in the public. I recall years back when I attended Concorso Italiano with 4 Noble and suddenly I turned around and Jay Leno was standing there. All I heard from afar, "there are bunch of Noble's on display." The crowds were non-stop and took 5 of us to answer questions throughout the entire day- BUSY!

These cars are on the public eye and I believe that racing gave us a huge boost, especially being on podium in a class that is SCCA's creme de la creme-GT-1.

You really have to put these cars out in the public all the time. April 23, the Lotus Club is going for a drive and the beginning point is TurboHoses where I will host breakfast and maybe a quick tech. Session. Please come.

You did have people asking you questions! The more people see, the better for the brand. There is a market out there, but you have to get it, it won't come to you.

My little rant was aimed specifically at Rossion in this case. I see how you and other enthusiasts are bending backwards to keep these cars on the road/track and Rossion doesn't even care enough to pay to keep their own website up! Their marketing strategy? Post crap on Facebook. Except some of the potential buyers I talked to don't even have a Facebook account! They need to get to know their customers if they want to grow or at least sustain the business.
